I saw the comment on Hackney Road and wondered if Mei had tried the Green Papaya restaurant opposite Well Street. It's a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant that I think is just fab: their banana flower salad is a revelation, as is their purple basil dressing which they still refuse to bottle and sell to me!
