Liz, thanks for the recommendation! Sounds amazing. If I can bribe them into selling me the dressing, I'll pass some on to you!

Hi Ladies, found your page and enjoyed your recipes and writing very much! I saw the comment on Hackney Road and wondered if Mei had tried the Green Papaya restaurant opposite Well Street. It's a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant that I think is just fab: their banana flower salad is a revelation, as is their purple basil dressing which they still refuse to bottle and sell to me!

Keep encrustifrying!

Hey Shannon! Thanks for your comment. It's hard not to have fun in the foodie oases of Ithaca and London. I added you on Facebook, so you can keep track of our Ithacan adventures. If you'd like to join us for a secret supper sometime, you can follow Deadpan Restaurant on Facebook too. Best of luck with your book!

hi stephen!

i definitely remember you, i think that was my first visit to taste of bitter love. now i'm obsessed. i'm sure we'll run into each other again there sometime since it's practically a morning ritual now.

i've been wanting to check out rochelle canteen and now will definitely do so. as for campania, i've tried to go several times! sadly, it's always been too busy or closed. but i'm still trying...

cheers,
--mei
